My name was Hassam and yet it never was anything but Orlando. Sir Joseph gave me back my name, the only thing besides my life that my parents left me....

Orlando was dressed like a Calormene but he was a Telmarine, a child of Narnia. As pavenders always try to swim up the rivers of home, ending their journey where it began, so Orlando determined to find his way home if he had to beg, borrow or...steal. What he got from Sir Joseph was more than a few gold coins. Some of the greatest treasures are those given freely from the heart.

In return for Joseph's and Trundle's generosity, Orlando gave loyalty and a wealth of sage advice that opened the door to many a locked mystery. In the end, he learned that a home is a house until it's filled with love. He found a home he sought, but he also found love.
